Being a huge fan of the book series, I rushed to the movie on opening day. I was excited, but expected to be let down somewhat, because most movies that are based on books change some things or just aren't as good. However, after seeing the film, I was beyond disappointed. The film clearly wasn't even TRYING to be a solid adaptation. Several major plot points were wrong or just outright forgotten. The casting annoyed me in that hair colors, eye colors and such were wrong. Maybe that's a bit trivial, but it still tends to bother me. Maybe the movie wasn't as bad to those who weren't such big fans of the book series?

Hello I am a born again Christian who was just saved less than a week ago. I am doing really good and the old sinful life is fading very fast for me. However my husband was saved two weeks ago and is doubting his faith (the devil is still trying to win the battle). Our mutual friend has been a born again Christian for 3 years now and has def changed as a person and prob a great leader in leading us into the light. However, before my husband was saved this person made a promise to my husband that he would give him a job and got him all reved up for this new job(my husband has a very dark past and really bad reputation, however he did change his ways long before he got saved but ppl still need proof that he changed) we kept hearing rumors that our friend was telling ppl that he wasnt hiring my husband and that he was hiring someone else. After my husband was saved our friend tells him that he isnt hiring him and that he hired someone else because of his past and that he had made his mind up before he got saved and that he wished that he had not done so but cannot take back what he had already done. My husband was heart broken and of course doubted his faith but then relised yes I was a bad person before and I should of been prepared for this. Then of course me being the one who was not saved at the time, lashed out at our friend in anger and rage and told him he wasnt being a good Christian and that I could follow his example and become a Christian myself because I didnt want to act like that if I was saved and that he shld ask god for his forgivness before I could forgive him. He then came around and appoliged to my husband and told him he would find something for him to do and began again to get my husbands hopes up. I than forgave our friend and hoped that with God in my husbands life that our friend would not disappoint us again.I then gave my heart to Jesus a few nights later and things have been going better. Of course we are still hearing terrible rumors that our friend is denying but some of the rumors are coming from other born again Christians who are really close to him and its really getting my husband down. He then asked our friend if he was going to have work for him and he said that he didnt know because he wasnt sure when he would be starting the work. I told my husband to just put his faith in God and trust that he will take us down the right path and not to put our trust in our friend because he may be a Christian but he is still a human. However my husband is frustrated that his friend and his family our doubting his salvation and are questioning some him because he hasnt quite smoking yet even though he is trying and its been real hard on him. We just need some advise on how to deal with this other than praying or talking to God. Should we take it to our Pastor or should we just let it be and trust in Jesus?

I would just go with the olive oil and fresh tomatoes and roasted garlic. Cut tomatoes in half and gently squeeze the juice out, then dice them. Cook and drain pasta and then toss in tomatoes, garlic and a little of the oil, letting the pasta cook the tomatoes. It will need, at least some oregano, fresh basil would be better. A gl of red wine or chianti.

Your local pet shop, petco or petsmart should have info packets for new pet owners, sometimes they even have kits. You will probably have to feed the frog something alive, they are carnivores, but you will probably just be dealing with crickets.

We have a problem with cat and dog mess on our front path and garden-any suggestions?

Every day we have to clear up both dog and cat faeces from our concrete path, gravel garden or flower border. We have tried every deterrent and nothing stops them from using our garden as their own personal toilet. There are 4 dogs in the road. One goes everywhere on a lead, one stays put in its own garden, even when unsupervised but the other two next door are allowed to run free unsupervised and then loaded into the car to be taken out for a walk. We have caught one of the dogs on our property more than once but have not yet caught it making the mess. However the owner went away for two weeks and the cat and dogs were not around - no dog/cat mess at all. Within 12 hours of their return to the property we had cat/dog mess to clear up again. Any ideas how to deter them from doing this or how to find actual evidence so that I can politely ask the neighbour to exercise more control over her animals? It really is most unpleasant to have to clear up this mess day after day - sometimes twice a day and we are becoming desperate.

running an empty tank does not cycle it. You have to put something in there for the benificial bacteria to eat before it can begin to grow. You can use several different things to "feed" it. You can put an uncooked shrimp in and let it decompose or you can feed it fish food every day or you can use a few drops of amonia. We have a House Finch nest on a beam about 8 feet high under out carport and this morning it was tipped on its side and the two eggs broke. I'm 14, and my skin is so pale it's practically translucent. I've grown out of the urge to fake tan my legs, arms, stomach and back, but i have a problem with the skin on my face. Questions about Toxic Shock Syndrome?

I was close to the end of my period and had to use a tampon instead of my usual pads, and just want to make sure everything is as it should be since yesterday ( a couple hours after I took it out ) I noticed a rash beginning to form. Not the sunburn like rash people say is ociated with TSS, but more like a small rash beginning on my leg ( like a collection of bug bites ) which disappeared within a few hours only to reappear on my arms, which then disappeared. BMW 325i Hazard Lights & Door Lock Switches stopped working?

On my BMW 325i the Hazard Lights & Door Lock Switches stopped working. The switches are located in the center by my emergency brake right next to one another below the arm rest. I thought it might be a fuse so I bought a fuse tester and I still cannot find the fuse. Since both switches are next to eachother I thought they would be related. I can only lock or unlock my car from the door or key remote. The Hazards do not work at all. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This makes me a bad parent?

I am a strict vegetarian. Meaning I don't eat any thing but vegetables and fruits. I don't eat junk food and i seldom eat sweets (maybe only once every two months). I don't force my vegetarianism on my kids because I let them make that choice on their own. However, I don't allow them to be inactive or overweight. All of my children who are able to participate in sports have no option but to find something they like and do it. Not just one thing but at least two. My cousin said that makes me a bad parent for not giving my children an option if they want to play sports or not. How is that bad?! My wife's side of the family is the one who thinks this. Yet they don't think what they are doing IS bad parenting. His daughter is 13 and weighs over 180 pounds! And that is suppose to be ok? He said he lets her choose what she wants to do with her life. I have no problem with that, but what I have a problem with is him not encouraging her to be healthy.

I just found out today that I ranked in the 30th percentile on the PSAT. I took the PSAT last year, but I lost the papers with the overall info, so I just got my percentile score from my guidance counselor today. I honestly didn't take the test too seriously, because I really just guessed and even left some answers blank (the test was soooooooo boring). I'm actually a pretty good student with slightly above average grades, but I'm feeling a little concerned as to what a 30th percentile ranking really means and what it projects for me on the SAT, because I'm expected to take the SAT in the spring.

Guy problem: i feel really confused?

Ive been seeing a guy on and off now since last april! but he constantly confuses me. last year we were really close its scary how much alike we are he was amazing, he went home to Ecuador for 2 months to see family and we started to grow apart. So I decided to try and get over him he acted a little different and I kept talking to him to the minimum as i was trying to get other things. Most of this was done over msn as that was where we ended up only ever speaking, I never really gave him answers he started asking me when I would see him and I just shook it off untill christmas he was just a little tipsy and told me things he'd never had the courage to tell me he said he was too scared. (fyi: our relationship back before the summer was purely on conversation and enjoying each others company it was in no way ual just to note) This gave me the oppertunity to spill out how i felt and we sorted things out he told me that some time in the near future maybe we could be together after getting to know each other better again. He then again asked me to see him and i said yes untill before the day came and he told me he had things to do something about going to the mechanics because his fathers car had broken down and we're back to square one his feelings seem to of switched off again. hi so this is very long and complicated so bare with my poor grammer/spelling and longness...so i met this girl (lets call her danielle) at work oever the summer.. we hooked up for about 2 weeks and i really liked her alot. she eventually gave me mixed feelings about us because i thought she was reallly into me...aparently not, she loves some other kid and just wanted to hook up with me. so yea i took that pretty hard but for some reason as much as i didnt want to talk to her cuz i would think about her she contunied to im me or text me EVERY SINGLE DAY. so it took a while but eventually after talkging to her every single day we grew a BFF relationship(yes i no its gay) and i stopped likeing her because well, she has a tendancy of hooking up with alot of guys and has feelings for other guys and well that doesnt seem to promosing in a future relationship which is what i wanted. so i didnt like her anymore, but we still talked eeryday. for about a few months we just talked online/phone/text and never really saw eachother xcept at work. never hung out on weekends. now she tells me just about everything, shes not open at all and she tells me about ehr guy problems which no one klnows about. the kid she loves is from out of state. so she went to visit him. now she knows how much of a p[iece of **** he is but she "loves" him so she went anyway. the kid was a heroin addict *** hole and treated her like ****. she came back home misrible depressed all that good stuff.. so yea as of about 3 weeks ago i began to like her again. and i like her a little to much. because well we started hanging out, just me and her, doiung things you would do on a date, movie/mall/diner the usual cute ****. plus we flirt and are all like touchy and **** but we never do anything like no kssing obviosley nothing else. now when ever as a joke we would bring up when we hooked up and when we would she would always say some little thing about like us never being able to work out or she cant like me like that and all that stuff. well im up to my breaking point right now and i cant take it. now if i do confront her about this this is what i would say... i woulndt say im in love with you, woulndt say i dream about you everynight(i dont do that dont worry im not that wierd) i would simnply say "i still have feelings for you and i cant take it anymore i cant just be your friend, either we try to work it out between us aka dating or i cant talk to you anymore. as much as i want to and as much as i wanna be your friend i cant hide my feelings and im becoming insane. also makes me feel id never meet a girl ever again if i continued my "bff status" with danielle. now im basically 99.9999999999 percent sure shes gonna say she doesnt like me and she wont date me but tell me if im wrong its a win win situation for me. either she dates me and i get a chance or she says no and we dont talk anymore and if that happens id move on. so thanks for reading this i guess, i plan on telling her this the next time i see her in person... oh also just wanted to let you no i dont have many friends let alone like my friends and the few i have daniella is not helping my heteroual relationshup with them. my friends think we **** and i ditch them for her which really i just hang out with her, i feel like a ***** because well only guys with friends that are girls especially if there good looking are most likley gay and i cant deal with that. i take alot of pride in the original person i've made myself today, its been alot of lonlyness and depressing **** but i almost feel like being with this girl as a friend im destroying everything i've gained. so thats it, if someone wants to like talk tome about this over aim id be more then willing to my sn is ogmpt614 thanks alot

I have had the same problem, and it sucks. I'm sure you're not crazy and sure you're not absent-minded. The last house we lived in, seems almost everything would disappear, but would reappear within mins, hours, days, months, sometimes years, and a few things never reappeared. We had a prankster of a ghost doing all that. Try telling it to STOP! Don't threaten, don't yell, just firmly tell it that you're sick and tired of the pranks and it's getting too expensive. You might want to think about investing in a holster, that way your phone or any other gadget is with you at all time. Before you go to bed, perhaps you can hide it in your car (out of site so nobody will break in to steal it), and that way it won't disappear during the night. I understand though, these things can get expensive!
