8 month old baby still won't hold bottle...?

Is this okay? Is he behind? He is doing everything else inf act he is quite advanced in lots of things, furniture walking, standing,crawling, grabbing and getting into everything, saying "mama" But he refuses to hold his bottle. Is he just lazy?? Ha ha. I don't mind feeding him (I enjoy the snuggles), so please ZERO comments from rude, sarcastic feeders. Just wondering if he is okay or if I should be trying to teach him to hold his bottle, etc...?
