I need you advice about computers for this college girl! =)?

I can not offer much advice about the Apple computers. However, the HP Pavilion ze5700 Notebook (I wish that they had listed the screen size) and the Dell Desktop are a steal. If they were in my area, I'd probably snag one or the other.
