Deleted Questions on home page?

The home page has a new feature, "questions suggested for you," which is fine. But at least on mine a fair number of those questions turn out to be deleted questions. I "x" them out, but they often reappear and persist for days. Why does Yahoo! Answers display links to deleted questions on the home page?
