Why do so many Americans love and support the state of Israel so much?

Well I live in Lebanon but if from our point of view its different. You see, alot of Amercians support Israel because they are mostly jews themselves, but Christians do support them because they belive Muslims are terrorists. That is not true, because just because some part of the population is that way you cannot render the whole population this way. Muslims are known for being terrorists in America I believe, though not all Americans consider that, whats happening is that you do not know what happened hear to judge, even us lebanese, we suffered alot from the israeli and Lebanese War in 2006, half Lebanon got destroyed and some of us were gonna get killed if not for us evcuating to Beirut , the feud between these two countries essentially started because Israel wanted to rule our land, and that caused us to take the defensive. Americans find them allies, and also, America is looking for expansion economically, Lebanon is at the center of the world map and holds geographic importance, maybe they were looking towards rulling it militarily via Israel if not for us defending ourselves, Palestinians are currently suffering because they could not.
